Yet Another Beta-But First One This Time

Standard

So today’s beta at 14dpo is….

256.8

A lot higher than we thought it would be. I went back and checked the boys’ beta and at 16dpo they were 338 which puts us slightly higher than our last DE cycle.

So the question is…is this another set of twins? I think it is too early to tell. I am interested to see what happens with the next one on Monday.

  1. Congrats! I check for your return periodically and it is wonderful to read this news and see your great beta number! You are a brave one. I also have twins and am contemplating trying with my remaining embryos. But, I really don’t think I have the guts to transfer two ever again! Looking forward to following along.

    • Thank you! I am not sure how we would deal with a second set of twins but I imagine we’d muddle through. Are your twins same gender or different and how old? I am finding new challenges as 2 approaches, that is for sure! Best wishes and thank you for the comment!

      • I have 21 month old boy/girl twins from my first DE attempt after 10 years of trying. I want another, but my husband isn’t on the same page yet. I just need a little more time to break him!

Of course you’ll be fine if you have another set of twins. You know the drill. What else would you rather be doing than dedicating yourself to 4 children under the age of 3? Now triplets, I’m not sure about :-P! My beta was 558 16dpo. This is a real nail biter. Can’t wait for tomorrow’s numbers. When is your first u/s?

In all seriousness though, I can’t think of a more wonderful position to be in!
